Enrolling Your Child at St. Gabriel School

St. Gabriel Consolidated School serves the following parishes: St. Maximilian Kolbe (Liberty Township), St. John (West Chester), and St. Gabriel (Glendale).  Application for the 2025/2026 school year is currently open.  

Current students may re-enroll first for the upcoming school year.  Spots will only be reserved until January 31st.  Any new siblings will need to be added to the family Digital Academy account and go through the screening process. 

All potential new students, siblings and parishioners, may begin the application process in January through Digital Academy and all non-parishioners may begin the application process February 3rd. 
 
​Applications are completed when the following steps are done:

1.  Complete the online application through Digital Academy, and pay the $200 non-refundable application fee per family.  Click HERE to access Digital Academy.
   All new students applying for grades K-8 will need to provide the following before your child can be scheduled for our screening process:
   1. Copy of Birth Certificate
   2. A Preschool Teacher Questionnaire (incoming Kindergarten students only)
   3. Copy of the most current report card (incoming students in grades 1-8)
   4. Copy of current ETR, IEP, ISP, 504 plan or Services Plan, if applicable
   5. Custody papers, if applicable. 
      
      ​As it is imperative that appropriate services are available for children with special needs, admission determinations for children with special needs will be made on a case by case basis once all records are reviewed. 
      
      All incoming kindergarten students are required to attend a kindergarten screening on June 2nd. All incoming 1 - 8 students are required to attend a shadow/testing day.  Shadow dates for 2025 are February 28th, March 7th, April 14th, or May 5th. Once your child attends our shadow or screening day, we will notify you within a week to let you know if we are able to accept your child at St. Gabriel.
      
      Class space will be allocated at follows after each shadow day:
      1. Siblings of present students in K-8.
      2. New entrants in grades K-8 from the 3 parishes of St. Gabriel, St. John the Evangelist (West Chester), and St. Maximilian Kolbe (Liberty Township).
      3. Non-parish entrants in grades K-8. Please note we will reserve 5 seats in each class through the May shadow date for parishioners. Non-parishioners may be placed on a waitlist if they shadow in February or March.​

We accept EdChoice Traditional and EdChoice Expansion Scholarships and we encourage all of our families to apply for this scholarship.  Every family will qualify for this scholarship.  For details and information to apply visit: http://education.ohio.gov/Topics/Other-Resources/Scholarships/EdChoice-Scholarship-Program.  Once you are awarded an EdChoice Scholarship, your tuition balance will be adjusted IF you have a tuition balance.   A payment plan can be set up then.     ​

Any student who attends any part of the school trimester and withdraws will be charged for the trimester in which the withdrawal takes place.
