1st-4th grade:
In order to not lose momentum over summer when it comes to their reading, students are to read an hour a week of grade level appropriate material and log the minutes in the calendar. Return the completed calendars to your child’s new homeroom teacher on Meet the Teacher Day or the first day of school.
5th & 6th grade:
Chose three grade level appropriate books to read this summer. Read one book each month: June, July, and August. Return the completed log to your child’s new homeroom teacher on Meet the Teacher Day or the first day of school.
