Be grateful for the abilities which God has
given you. Do your best, and be proud of your accomplishments.
Be a humble winner, and a gracious loser.
Nobody likes a poor sport.
Be patient and forgiving of others who are
new to the sport. Remember, others were patient while you were
learning.
Have your priorities in order. Allow
adequate time for your family, school work and worship.
Don't let your teammates down. They depend
on you as much as you depend on them.
Treat your body with respect. Eat well,
rest, exercise, and stay away from unhealthy, abusive
substances.
Don't be arrogant when someone is trying to
help you. Remember there is always someone who knows more than
you do.
Always play fair. It's a measure of your
integrity.
